Spring Reading List: Completed
June 2, 2025
What a lovely spring it has been. I have never been much of a summer person, it has always felt too hot and quite lonely to me, but I am excited for the change of seasons this year, and am excited to read all of my summer reads along with you. As you can tell already, I read quite a few less books than the winter months because I have been out and about and enjoying the lovely weather. If you are new to this blog, I base my seasons on the months that I feel most embody the season, rather than what the weather or the calendar say, so this is all of the books I have read during March, April, and May. (As you can tell, May was a busy month for me, and I went through a bit of a reading slump. I am hoping that summer proves to shake me out of that slump!) I loved some, I did not love some, but here are all the books I finished in the last three months:
March:
All Fours By Miranda July
Tom Lake by Ann Patchett
Howl’s Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones
April:
The Honey Witch by Sydney Shields
Dinner for Vampires by Bethany Joy Lenz
The Strawberry Patch Pancake House by Laurie Gilmore
I Who Have Never Known Men by Jacquline Harpman
May:
The Spellshop by Sarah Beth Durst
I hope your spring was full of books! Here is to a summer of reading! As always, if there is a book you want me to read and review, please do not hesitate to reach out at aly@alydevine.com or via my contact page.
