Book Review: Twigs Traveling Times by Gryffin Murphy

I love this book. I did what I could to make it last as long as possible. This was the most cozy, romantic, adventure I’ve ever read. And if you’re not considering listening to it, change your mind. Imogen Church is brilliant. Her voices are distinct but don’t make me cringe. If you like Ghibli, you’ll love this world of magic and mystery and all kinds of magical creatures.

We follow the story of Louella Twig, the owner of Twigs Traveling Tomes and Book Witch. She might be the only Book Witch in fact. She’s never met another in her life. Her own mentor didn’t even believe in it. So when he stumbled back into her shop, claiming his grimoire had been stolen and he needed her help finding it, she debated, if only for half a moment, whether she should. Just moments before, a devastatingly handsome, handcuffed, rouge had escaped into her shop. She had no idea how much a ten minute time period could change the trajectory of her soft and sweet life. She had her books. She had her treehouse. What more could she need? Friends who feel more like family? An unlikely soulmate? Adventure? Acceptance of herself?

I could not recommend this book more. I loved this book so much. Please read or listen to this book.
